The rays of light filtered through The sentinels of trees this morning. I sat in the garden and contemplated the serenity and beauty of my feelings and surroundings, they completely captivated me. I thought of you. I discovered you tucked away In the shadows of the trees. Then, rediscovered you in the smiles of the flowers As the sun penetrated their petals In the rhythm of the leaves falling in the garden In the freedom of the birds as they fly searching as you do. I’m very happy to have met you, now you will never leave me For I will always find you in the beauty of life. RIP Aunt D, you were the most beautiful woman in the world. I have never seen a woman with such poise, style & grace, we as women could all learn from you & the world would be a better place. I still remember all those years ago when I came to the UK, you made me feel so welcome and at home straight away. We had a such a wonderful time, every morning off to Asda or Tescos for our ‘Elevenses’, I never could resist a sweet treat to have with my tea. My first experience with snow was with you, I loved it until we had to go shopping & I soon realised how mushy & slippery the snow becomes, you did warm me! Soar high & free, the pain is now gone, another angel in heaven ❤️ Sleep well Dee, until we meet again. I love you xxx ❤️
